Exciting News!

During the month of August, 2011, the Shop has been going through its annual "Deep Cleaning and Organization".

Thanks to several local businesses who have made generous donations of raw materials, the Shop now has beautiful Formica countertops and new shelf coverings!  The Club would like to acknowledge and send out a great big "THANK YOU!!!" to the following companies who made these generous donations:

Also, we are very grateful to each of the Club members who came to the Shop and did all the hard work of cleaning, organizing and refurbishing our beloved workshop!!!  Without the generous members who volunteer their valuable time and knowledge, our Club would cease to exist.  You are all V.I.P.s of the Palomar Gem and Mineral Club and we thank you! 

Let's keep our Club going another 57 years so that future generations of rockhounds, jewelry makers, lapidary artists and earth scientists can enjoy the experiences that we've been enjoying since 1954.
